Europe has been a talent supplier for too long.

The pattern is familiar: strong technical education, world-class engineers, and then—export. The best people leave for California or New York. The ones who stay often work remotely for American companies. The value creation happens elsewhere.

This isn't inevitable. It's a function of environment. The talent is here. What's missing is the right energy or venues—the recurring, high-intensity spaces where builders find each other, level up together, and start things locally. This is what ecosystems like California, or Israel for that matter, understand.


The Rolling Hackathon is one piece of that puzzle.

We're focused on learning by doing with special emphasis on the application layer in AI—the part Europe most neglects at the moment. Everyone talks about models and infrastructure. But the opportunity in next few years is in what gets built on top of the models. That's where value accrues to builders, not just to the largest GPU clusters. And that's where European talent can compete.


What patrons are backing:

A thesis, not a logo. You're not sponsoring an event. You're funding the ecosystem development you believe should exist—a recurring community of high-velocity builders focused on AI applications.

Early recognition. The best backing happens before consensus. If this works, you were in the room when it was 50 people in Warsaw. If it doesn't, you took a real, perhaps best possible, swing at a real problem.

Access to signal. You'll see what's actually being built, what's working, what's hype. Not filtered through pitch decks—live demos, real conversations, builders who are too busy building to write thought leadership.

Intellectual density. The firesides, the in-room conversations, the quality of people. This should feel like the most interesting room you've been in recently—not a networking event with lanyards.
